I used to watch way too much TV. I probably still do. So if you’re like me, you’ll know that when a clock is in the background during a TV show, it’s generally set on the perfect time. Same goes with advertisements for watches and clocks.
What is perfect time?
Unless it doesn’t fit in with the context of the story on the screen or photo, perfect time is 10:10, AM or PM. That’s because when the hands on a clock are at 10:10, it forms a “V” and looks kind of like a smile
Not sure if “perfect time” is the official terminology…it’s just what my wife Heather always called it.
A few days ago someone told me about an event that would be taking place on Oct 10, 2010, aka 10/10/10. I think I may have discovered the PERFECT DAY!
In all seriousness, I started thinking about where I want to be on that day. What do I want to have accomplished in my business? Starting a new business adventure is a challenging task and if it’s going to be successful, I need to make significant progress in the next year.
So I’m going to sit down and do some soul searching. I’m going to outline some short term goals for 10/10/09, and some big hairy audacious goals (BHAGs) for 10/10/10. I may even work in some really lofty goals for 2020. After all, it’s only a bit more than a decade away!
Join me on this quest. Post a comment and share your 10/10/09 and 10/10/10 goals. I’ll post some of mine in another post in a few days.
Need some help with goals…here’s a good starting place.
